In recognition of Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day, join us for a 1-mile beach walk and sunset concert event, presented by actor and best-selling author John O'Hurley.


Sunday, October 13th is National Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day. Please join award-winning actor and author John O'Hurley and the Swain Department of Nursing at The Citadel as we raise awareness for Metastatic Breast Cancer and welcome the official launch of the Charleston-based nonprofit organization, Racing for MBC.

The event will include a 1-mile beach walk beginning and ending at the Citadel Beach Club followed by food & drinks with a full, sunset concert by the popular band The Ultimate Eagles Tribute - On the Border. This band continues to be the most exciting and authentic EAGLES Tribute with sell-out shows across the nation - now they're taking the stage in support of MBC!

This event is also hosted by actor and best-selling author John O'Hurley, whose career has spanned almost 3 decades and included roles on hit TV shows like Seinfeld and Spongebob as well as lead roles on Broadway and voice acting for Xbox games. Join us for a night of music, food, and VIP guests as we race for a cure for Metastatic Breast Cancer!

The event begins at 3:00pm with a one-mile MBC Awareness walk followed by food, drinks, and music on the beach at The Citadel Beach Club. There will be a cash bar available for 21+

Tickets are $40 and include the walk, food, & concert! (All Proceeds Benefit, Racing for MBC)

Students get discounted tickets, HALF OFF, for $20!

Free Admission for children 12 & under (limit 4 per supervising adult).
